On September 4, 2006, the tenth turbine of the Co-op was installed near White Salmon, WA. The small wind system’s output will help serve the Anderson household’s electric load. When the system’s output exceeds the home’s electric demand, the excess energy will be delivered to Klickitat County’s electric grid.

"I am participating in this project as a site host because, as owner of Anderson Environmental Contracting, LLC, I practice “environmental conservation” for a living. Generating power for my own use with the wind just makes a lot of sense. I really enjoy being a part of anything that will enhance and improve our environment both now and in the future."
